DOU BIN I DOHAM

In the South Tyrolean dialect, "Here I am at home" means "dou bin i doham." But where is home? My childhood on the mountain farm "Seppila" in the South Tyrolean Hochpustertal valley, on the edge of the Dolomites , instilled in me a love for the mountains from an early age. Here I grew up, here I learned to live and to love. Above all, I learned to love nature and the mountains – and there I also found my answer to the question "wou bin i doham."

We not only had a mountain farm with many animals, but also a snack bar with many homemade specialties – so I was used to dealing with guests from childhood. We spent every free minute in the forests and gorges, on the endless meadows, among the animals or on the mountain peaks – or with our guests when we had to help out in the restaurant.

As the daughter of a mountain guide, we children were taken to summits and climbing walls from an early age - for example to the King Ortler (see photo).

Now I've ended up in Vorarlberg . A wonderful place – or " Ländle ," as the locals affectionately call it. A unique state with breathtaking landscapes, a fascinating culture, and truly beautiful spots – I promise to show them to you.

Today, I work full-time as a tourism manager for Alpenregion Bludenz Tourism , so I know the area very well, and I also lead tours through my adopted home region on the side. Occasionally, you might also find me in my native South Tyrol on a Dolomite tour or on multi-day hikes across the Alps.

Would you like to travel with me? Then get in touch, I'm looking forward to it!
